Staying in Chiang Mai during your course

Many students choose to stay in Chiang Mai’s Old City (inside the historic moat).
It is convenient for shopping, cafes, temples, and evening walks after class.
There are also quiet hotels near the school in Saraphi for students who prefer a calm environment and want to focus on study.

Recommended accommodation options

CCA does not operate its own accommodation, but we regularly work with several guesthouses and small hotels that many of our students use.
Please contact each place directly to check prices and availability and to make your booking.

1. Number 4 Old Town (inside the Old City)
A simple, good-value guesthouse located inside the Old City, within walking distance of Chiang Mai Gate and many local markets and restaurants.

3. De Wiangkumkam Hotel (near CCA, Saraphi area)
A quiet, resort-style hotel located about a 5–6 minute walk from CCA Thai Massage School.
Recommended for students who want a peaceful environment close to the classroom.

Some guesthouses, such as Number 4 Old Town and 60 Blue House, can arrange an airport pick-up for around 200 THB.
If you are interested, please ask the guesthouse directly when you book your room.

Daily transport to the school

CCA Thai Massage School is located outside the city center, in a quieter area of Saraphi.

  • Each course day, we provide a shared car or van from a meeting point in the Old City to the school in the morning, and back after class.
  • Pick-up is usually near Chiang Mai Gate or another central Old City location.
  • This shuttle service is basically free of charge for CCA students.

If you stay at a hotel far from the Old City or outside the usual pick-up area, please contact us in advance.
We will discuss the best way for you to come to the school each day.

Visa information

CCA Thai Massage School does not provide visa sponsorship or visa application support.
We cannot arrange visas on your behalf, and we do not issue documents for student visa applications.

Most international students join our courses using:

  • Visa-exempt entry, or
  • A tourist visa (depending on nationality and the length of stay).

Visa rules change regularly and are different for each country.
Please check the latest information directly with the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country before you book your flights.

If you have questions about course dates or schedules that you need for your own travel planning, feel free to contact us from the Contact / Apply page.
